My results in 2009 mean that I am one of only three Canadian athletes to secure an early berth to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games (the others being Jennifer Heil and Ashleigh McIvor).

I love to travel and even better I love to travel to surf! But my greatest pleasure is spending time with my family and friends. If I wasn’t an athlete I would be an architect.

    Ryan Blais

Ryan narrowly missed out on qualifying for the 2006 Olympics; despite winning the final Word Cup 3 weeks prior the games and getting a silver medal at the World Cup following the games! He finished the season ranked 4th in the world. He’s giving his all to this season.

That when I’m in the start gate at an event I feel peaceful and calm. I’m doing what I love surrounded by beautiful mountains and beautiful people.

I used to compete in both aerials and moguls. At 14 years old, I was the youngest athlete to perform a triple jump. Upon joining the National Development team program in 2004, I chose to pursue a career in moguls.
