The Canada Post Freestyle Team soaring high on their way to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

Freestyle season 2009/2010

This is an incredibly exciting year for Canada, for the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association and for Canada Post. With the eyes of the world on Vancouver in 2010 we all have a chance to show our common goals of excellence, dedication and commitment.

As a proud partner of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association since 2006 and an Official Supplier to the Games, Canada Post and its employees will be front and centre for all the festivities and celebrations this season will bring. The countdown to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is building excitement this winter.

Last year, the Canada Post Freestyle Team was once again number one on the FIS Freestyle circuit. After winning the prestigious Nations Cup for the past four years, it’s clear that these elite athletes continue to train smart and work hard in their drive to make Canadians proud in 2010. This is this same dedication seen on a daily basis in our employees across the country; a genuine desire to work harder and better meet our customers’ needs.

Canada Post offers national and local support for hundreds of charities including those associated with literacy and our cause of choice, mental health; good investments in the communities we live and work in. We continue to build on our investment that Canada Post began four years ago with the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association. Canada Post provides essential funding for the training activities of more than 2,000 freestyle skiers in Canada, from beginners in our Freestyle Frenzy programs, to elite athletes headed for international podiums.

Now in our fourth year as the title sponsor of the team, Canada Post remains committed to each athlete, to this team and to this dynamic sport. I wish Canada’s Freestyle athletes a golden 2009/2010 season!
