Robert F. MacLellan

Robert MacLellan chairs the Audit Committee of the Canada Post Foundation for Mental Health. He joined Northleaf as non-executive Chairman in November 2009.In his previous role as Chief Investment Officer of TDBFG, Mr. MacLellan was responsible for overseeing the management of investments for The Toronto-Dominion Bank, its Employee Pension Fund, TD Mutual Funds and TD Capital Group.

From 1988-1995, he was Managing Director of Lancaster Financial Holdings, a merchant banking group. The company was acquired by the TD Bank in March 1995.

From 1981-1988, Mr. MacLellan was Vice President and Director, McLeod Young Weir Limited (Scotia McLeod) and a member of the Corporate Finance Department responsible for a large number of corporate underwritings and financial advisory assignments.

Mr. MacLellan holds an MBA from Harvard University, a B.Comm. from Carleton University and is a Chartered Accountant. His directorships include Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and the Osler Bluff Ski Club.

2001: Chair of TD Bank Finanial Groups National Leadership Campaign for the United Way Toronto.

2002: Chair of TD Bank Financial Groups Employee Campaign for the United Way Toronto.

2003 2006: Member of the Cabinet of the United Way Toronto.

2005: Member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way Toronto and Chair of the Investment Committee.

2005: Member of the Investment Committee of the Toronto Community Foundation
