Postal Code Address Data (PCAD) – The Postal Code Address Data Product provides information on all valid Postal Codes. Each Postal Code has its associated Canadian address ranges (2 to 114 Clydesdale Dr., North York, ON M2J 3N2) and, if applicable, apartment/suite ranges in Canada. It also includes additional information on building types, and business or residential classifier among other things.

Householder Elite - The Householder Elite Data Product provides Delivery Point counts (number of houses, apartments, businesses and farms) at a specific geographic level (Postal Code level, all six characters of the Postal Code). The product also provides volume and distribution by number of houses, apartments, businesses, and farms for each urban and rural delivery installation, and Letter Carrier walk. The product allows for links between individual Postal Codes to Letter Carrier walks, householder counts and delivery installations, helping you target your campaign at the Postal Code level, Letter Carrier walk level or FSA level. In example, find out how many houses are in Postal Code M2J 3N2 or how many apartments are within Postal Code M2J 3N2.

Common uses: Penetration analysis at a specific geographic level, evaluating marketing campaign results, planning of Unaddressed campaigns to reach new customers. Householder Elite includes all required fields to interface with the Electronic Shipping Tool (EST).

The product allows for links between individual FSA to Letter Carrier walks, householder counts and delivery installations, helping you target your campaign at the FSA level, or Letter Carrier walk level. For example, find out how many houses are in M2J or how many apartments are within M2J.

Delivery Mode Data - The Delivery Mode Data Product provides the necessary information to enable mail presorting in accordance with Canada Post standards (Link to standards). Includes all Postal Codes and associated Delivery Modes in Canada—such as letter carrier and rural route.

Common uses: Enables appropriate sorting and bundling of mail to achieve a discount on postage rates.

Licensing Instructions

1. Fill out a scope of usage document outlining your intended use of the data and desired product(s). This document forms part of the license agreement as Schedule “A”.
2. Return the completed scope of usage document by fax (416-204-4410), e-mail (data.targetingsolutions@canadapost.ca), or

Additional Details

• Canada Post Address Data Products are annual licenses (12 months) from the point of signing. Monthly distribution schedule 2013

• FTP access instructions and credentials will be provided after licensing is completed
• Data is provided in ASCII format and requires appropriate software to process
