Step one: Describe your mailing

If your campaign or offer is time sensitive, you can choose to deliver it on a specific date. And you can also choose the type of homes you want to deliver to – you might want to avoid apartment buildings if you sell lawn mowers, for example.
Step two: Rank by demographics
Tell us who you want to reach and we’ll tell you where to find them. You can choose up to three demographics to define your target audience.
Here you can select the people who are most likely to respond to your campaign. Your product or service may be perfect for families living in the city, for example, or for apartment dwellers. You can narrow it down by income level, age and household size, among others. There are 7 demographic variables that you can use to define your target audience, and you can choose up to 3. Targeting this way means you can avoid routes that don’t match your demographic criteria, which will save you money.
Step three: Define your delivery area
Use the interactive map tools to choose your delivery area. We’ll show you what it looks like, and how well it matches your target audience. You can adjust and refine it until it’s exactly what you need.
Map tools allow you to narrow your delivery area in a number of ways:
Drive Time – choose this method if time is of the essence to your customers.
Radius – set a circular radius around your business. It’s particularly helpful if you’re in a densely populated area.
Drive Distance - simply enter your address or Post Code and your preferred distance. We’ll do the rest.
Buffer – the area closest to your business—the buffer—will be excluded. The area immediately outside your buffer will be your prime target area.
Custom Polygon - select a custom delivery area by choosing boundary points on the map by hand.
This is where Precision Targeter becomes really powerful. We combine the demographic you selected in step 2 with your delivery area and show you which routes best match your target audience. Step four: Review your mailing
This is the summary of your Unaddressed AdmailTM campaign. You can download, email or save it on a secure Canada Post website for 13 months. You can even export your campaign data to Canada Post’s Electronic Shipping Tools or send the data to your mail service provider.

By clicking this option, the delivery timing, deposit options, and payment are presented. If you’re not already signed in, you’ll need to before you can place an order. If you don’t have a customer number/account with us, you can follow the sign up link to register.
- Save your Unaddressed Admail campaign:
When you log into your Canada Post account, you can save and retrieve your Unaddressed Admail campaign for up to 13 months. You can access your saved campaigns by selecting “My Mailings”.
- Download a report/email a report:
This report summarizes your Unaddressed Admail campaign and includes the route ranking if demographics have been selected so you can review before you place an order.
Step five: Place your order
