Long and narrow, like the bridges they depict, four new domestic rate (50¢) stamps celebrate the structural spectre of the Jacques Cartier Bridge connecting the island of Montréal with Longueuil, the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge linking Halifax with Dartmouth, the Canso Causeway connecting Nova Scotia mainland with the Island of Cape Breton, and the Swinging Bridge in Souris, Manitoba. The self-adhesive pane of 16 is perforated and the reverse side includes photographic elements from each image along with accompanying text.
