Question

Delivery of my letter or parcel was attempted, but I never received a notice card. Why not?

  • You have received confirmation from the sender that we attempted to deliver your item, but you have not received a notice card.
  • You have received confirmation online or by telephone that we attempted to deliver your item, but you have not received a notice card.

Answer

When we attempt deliveries, we usually leave a Delivery Notice Card at your door. If you receive mail at a community mailbox, apartment mailroom or group mailbox, check your compartment as we may have left the card there rather than at your door.

If we attempted delivery today, it is possible that we couldn’t leave the card at the time of attempted delivery. You’ll receive it the next business day with your regular mail.

Have you tried...

  • Check your community mailbox, apartment mailroom or group mailbox for your Delivery Notice Card.
  • If you have the tracking number or the Delivery Notice Card number, enter it in Track to find out where to go to pick up your item.
