Important news about H1N1 vaccination clinics at Canada Post
December 9, 2009
Canada Post is now able to offer free on-site H1N1 flu-shot clinics at facilities with more than 50 employees in the following provinces: Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia. This has been made possible because the provinces have begun to make the H1N1 flu vaccine available to private suppliers, including the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), which delivers Canada Post’s flu shot clinics. More information about clinic locations and times will be posted as soon as it is available.
H1N1 flu vaccine continues to be a priority at this time. Our onsite seasonal flu vaccine clinics will begin at a later date.
Fighting seasonal and H1N1 flu
At Canada Post, the health and well-being of our people—and of all Canadians—is our primary concern. We have a comprehensive plan to help people stay healthy and safe and, if necessary, to adjust our operations. Given the scope of our operation, the work that we do and the number of people we contact daily, it is extremely important that we remain vigilant at all times and take every precaution possible to stay healthy and prevent the spread of the flu.
