Year of the Rooster

Our Lunar New Year stamps are among our most popular – take a look from past to present at the issues we have released so far

Canada Post has released the ninth issue in our 12-year Lunar New Year series, which has become one of the most popular series in our commemorative stamp program.

This year’s two-stamp issue ushers in the Year of the Rooster, which runs from January 28, 2017 to February 15, 2018. Those born under this sign are said to be honest, courageous and confident. Marked for success, Roosters achieve their goals through a combination of wit, charm and hard work.
