Service outage; updates for U.S.-based shippers

Canada Post web services will be unavailable while we perform a technical upgrade on Saturday, June 15 at 9 p.m. until Sunday, June 16 at 7 a.m., Eastern Time. During this time, our servers will not be able to respond to calls from your website or application. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will be upgrading contract shipping web services to version 3. Please note that only shippers with a U.S.-based manifest address need to upgrade to version 3 at this time.

If you are a U.S.-based shipper with a U.S. manifest address please note the following:

  • A new field called country-code is now part of the Transmit Shipments request. You must enter US in this new country-code field.
  • For all contract shipping web services, update to version 3 (with the exception of Get Artifact).
