Barbara MacKenzie

Barbara MacKenzie is Vice-President, Finance and Comptroller

In this role, Barbara is responsible for all facets of financial decision-making, comptrollership, financial performance planning, measurement, forecasting and reporting in the company.

Barbara joined Canada Post in 1991 as a Supervisor in Customer Accounts and has held several progressively more responsible roles in the Finance organization, including positions in internal audit, financial reporting and control and decision support. Barbara has also served as Assistant Controller for Purolator Courier.

In 2006, Barbara became General Manager, Comptroller where she was responsible for the Corporation’s financial reporting, and instrumental in developing the financial aspects of the five-year corporate plan, operating budget and financial targets.

Barbara is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CMA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Carleton University. Barbara is married and has a son.
